Anna dared, somehow, to follow her dream.
I am a passionate 23 year old artist from New Jersey, fueled by a love for vibrant colors and squiggles! You can find my art spilling onto canvas, clothing, and pottery, as well as digital mediums, crafting unique pieces that aim to make viewers smile.
I have taken many art classes over the years, and love to explore new mediums, and artistic adventures. When I began working at a pottery studio, I realized that painting pottery was a perfect way for me to create art that can be used everyday, without sacrificing any creativity.
My work is a celebration of joy, imagination, and the power of creativity to heal and motivate. Much of my art often utilizes poetic text and hard edge painting techniques, and I’ve more recently been exploring the incorporation of digital processes. Through the use of bold colors and fun linework, I invite viewers to reconnect with their own inner child, encouraging a contemplation of contrasting ideas from both positive and negative mindsets.
This project, I Dared Somehow, is a tribute to doing hard things, and following your gut. While I’ve always known art would be a huge part of my life, I never pinpointed how. And I believe that this is it.
